George Brown's Digital Media Marketing graduate certificate program offers engaging digital marketing courses that teach students the foundational knowledge and applied skills employers value in digital marketing. This program is delivered as a combination of traditional in-class, hybrid (which combines online delivery with in-class instruction), and fully online classes. Note that overall approximately 40 per cent of the teaching is delivered online, and that work experience (co-op or internship) is required to graduate.
Key areas covered in the program include: social media marketing, mobile marketing, search marketing (SEO), web and content marketing and emerging platforms. In the final semester, students work on a capstone strategic project.
Graduates will be prepared for careers in a wide variety of sectors including digital promotional/advertising agencies, or digital or social media marketing roles in corporations, government and not-for-profit organizations.
