Conflict Resolution

In an ever-changing world, we are seeing more conflicting goals, increased diversity and ambiguity. In the dynamic organization of today, conflicts cannot be avoided, but they can be managed more effectively. Leaders are responsible for encouraging a win/win environment. Team members want to be productive and work towards a healthy environment. This module focuses on negotiating to resolve conflict. When negotiation isn’t successful, mediation is the next step.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the nature of conflict; understand their own conflict style and how it impacts on situations; identify and address the barriers to effective conflict resolution; demonstrate an interpersonal conflict resolution session; and develop an action plan to improve conflict resolution skills.
