Take a deep dive into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cloud services and learn how it can give an organization a competitive edge by using automation, not only to manage data but, to improve workflows, customer service, cost-savings, and systems management.
The UBC Micro-certificate in Artificial Intelligence Cloud Solutions Strategy is a part-time business-oriented technical program that offers leaders and professionals a road map to plan and implement AI within a cloud environment responsibly and effectively.
Developed by industry experts with input from UBC faculty and UBC IT leadership, this 55-hour interactive online micro-credential helps students gain the insight to evaluate a vast landscape of AI technologies and choose the appropriate solutions to create a unique playbook for cloud success.
Graduates will have a practical understanding of the technical, business, societal, and ethical implications of AI solutions for cloud services and the ability to make informed decisions to upgrade their organization’s technology infrastructure.
The program consists of two online courses of four weeks: Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Cloud Strategy and Artificial Intelligence Cloud Technology Implementation.

There was a balance between advanced business theories and classes, and technical skills such as analytics and programming. The latter of which I personally found to be
quite difficult, but rewarding if you put the time in to learn.
By far, the best part of the program was the people. Everyone accepted was professional, nice, and smart. These are people who want you to succeed just as much as they want to succeed themselves.
The school's career centre was an invaluable resource to help with applications and conducting mock interviews so we knew what to expect when entering the job market.
Be prepared for an (at times) overwhelming workload though. Your social life will take a significant hit when class starts.
Great community

Sauder gets 5-stars from me. Great international faculty and a strong community of business professionals. My firm covered the costs of the change management program but I would have happily paid for it myself.
