The Data Fundamental Course is where the data journey begins! The short course prepares learners for the following: get prepared for WeCloudData’s Data Bootcamps, learn the fundamentals before committing to a learning path, overcome the fear of programming, and build small wins to gain confidence via mini projects.

Building a strong foundation in data fundamentals is the key to the success of any data professional. For those who want to land a job in data science or data analytics, become a data engineer, or get prepared for WeCloudData’s data bootcamps, SQL, Python, and basic data visualization skills are essential.

The Data Fundamental course helps learners lay the most important foundation in their data careers. It teaches 3 of the most important skills: working with database queries, manipulating data with python, and visualizing data using one of the most popular visualization tools.

SQL

  • Understand relational databases and the purpose of SQL.
  • Get familiar with common SQL queries.
  • Gain hands-on experience with SQL programming.

Recommend to WCD's data science bootcamp! I obtained a DS job in 8 monthes. Their course structure, TA support, exercises, mentor help and real word projects are all good! 3 monthes learning is intensive but enjoyable, as you can find yourself improving skills everyday! The bootcamp includes sql, python, pandas, ml, dl, bigdata, which is most core skills required in DS position. My mentor is very supportive, which also help me perform better in the interviews. I did 2 client projects and these real world experience support me a lot in job hunting. Recommend WCD if you are also a career switcher and look for a DS bootcamp.

    Yes we do! You will be given a WeCloudData Certificate of Achievement upon completion of our course.

  • I'm completely new to the field with no programming background, am I still able to enrol?

    We do provide laptops to our full-time students to use within the classrooms, however, we encourage you to bring in your own laptop so that you can learn on a machine that you are comfortable with and can take home to continue working on.

  • Do you provide career support after graduation?

    We provide all of our students with post-course mentoring by reviewing your resume, helping you develop your interview skills, sharing current job market trends, and providing you with the advice given to us from hiring managers within the field.
