Good experience, though i wish i knew ahead of time that it was strongly recommended that you would require a partner. Even though we had the option to work independently, we were warned several times that working independently would take a lot. I'm glad i ended up with a great partner, but i want to learn all aspects on my own.

Good pace, Jason K was a great instructor and really knowledgeable, and wants better for the students and goes way into depth.

the course provided good resources and was a light in trying to understand the entire ecosystem of UX.

I've learned a lot that i can apply to my job and moving forward, but that's the issue - i'm not too sure where to go from now. next steps is more online learning but i would like to know what those resources are. And if those resources are free, then why did i pay so much for this course? If those resources aren't free, then it would seem like more of a money grab. My point is, i would like more guidance when it comes to life after the course, and hearing how alumnis have paved their way.

Given the current economic status i believe all i can do for now is work on my own projects. I walked away being more knowledgable about UX design and a wider network of about 10 lovely people. I enjoy the type of people that brain station attracts in terms of people wanting to learn to update skills and focus on their professional development -- nice to know we're all in the same boat of trying to figure out what's next, and if UX is truly right for us.

It was nice being able to learn a new skill during quarantine. now that the course is over i can't believe people have been living with such an abundance of time! Happy to now be a brain station alum and see what others do with our newfound skills. Would recommend this course to others who have an interest in research and efficiency and solving problems.

FAQ

  • Do you offer financing for tuition?

Yes we do! We offer different payment options based on the course to make our education as accessible as possible.

  • Are computers provided?

BrainStation courses are BYOL (bring your own laptop). This allows you to complete homework in the comfort of your own home and to become comfortable with your machine to continue your learning beyond completion of the course.
