Become skilled in motive power by training with industry-standard tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifts. You will learn to operate, diagnose and service all types of vehicles, from standard automobiles to industrial heavy-duty equipment, and have the opportunity to work on the latest technology by way of vehicle donations. You will perform actual service procedures on a wide variety of components found in the power train of heavy vehicles, install and set up clutches, and tear down and assess the condition of manual transmissions.
Successful completion is equivalent to Level 1 Automotive Apprenticeship in-class portion.
