Centennial College’s Cybersecurity program is a one-year graduate certificate offering designed to address the industry’s increasing demand for well-educated security professionals in the public and private sectors.

This School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science program will educate you on how to protect computers, applications and networks from unauthorized and malicious users or software. It will cover the key cybersecurity concepts of cryptography, cyber forensics and network security in addition to topics such as mobile network security, cloud security, and ethical hacking techniques and tools. This Cybersecurity program will also address supporting concepts of information system security that are integral parts of cybersecurity.

To enhance your applied learning experience, you’ll learn current IT security tools, policies and techniques in a modern cybersecurity lab that was established in collaboration with the College’s industry partners.

What You’ll Learn

  • Evaluate and recommend innovative cybersecurity strategies that provide secure solutions for organizational processes and applications.
  • Optimize the effectiveness of information security in a business environment through risk mitigation, and auditing of information systems.
  • Design and implement vulnerability assessment procedures to find and solve existing security issues in a network through monitoring and analyzing different attackers’ tactics, strategies, and techniques.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions and protocols in compliance with current security policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
  • Implement and evaluate security policies and strategies by collaborating in cybersecurity projects as a multidisciplinary team member/leader to deliver effective security solutions to the clients.

I wanted to apply to Centennial College for the Digital Marketing programme.

But they don’t inform new students about the total fees before paying the deposit. They told "approximate fee" and they wanted me to pay a deposit ( 2.650 $) without knowing the total 1-year fee. They just want to have money, money, money!!! Students have a right to learn the exact final tuition fee before they register. They said that they would let me know until 22nd June 2020 but still there is no information. I sent an e-mail 3 times after 22nd June, they never answered my mail.

Moreover
After the pandemic, the Centennial college has just started to demand the whole tuition fee only from the international students until 6th July 2020 while they were taking the fee semester by semester before the pandemic.
They are not asking the whole fee from the domestic students.

Centennial does not be equal for all students in terms of the payment schedule. The epidemic has already affected to all international students. However, Centennial still does not inform students about Fall fees?

My suggestion is please be careful while you want to go to Centennial College. You should think more than twice if you don't want to go to a school which sees you only as money and doesn't respect your rights.
