AutoCAD for Design – Level 2 at Fanshawe College builds on introductory AutoCAD skills for learners in the interior design and decorating industry. This micro-credential is tailored for working professionals or students with basic AutoCAD experience who want to advance their ability to create and manage 2D design drawings. Participants practice using the AutoCAD interface and tools to enhance their interior design projects with more detailed and organized drawings.
Learners will develop the skills to complete drawings using AutoCAD, set up and manage basic layers, navigate drawing properties and page setup, and add detailed annotations such as text, dimensions, leaders, tables, and notes. They will also learn to print completed drawings effectively. The course requires a total of 20 class hours.
