The Insurance Professional certificate at NorQuest College is a four-month, online program made up of five courses, designed to provide students with essential skills for a career in insurance. Students will engage in hands-on learning, attend informative field trips, and participate in networking events. In addition, they’ll have access to industry experts, mentors, and hiring staff, with passionate instructors sharing valuable insights from their own experience.

Graduates of this program receive a certificate recognized by numerous insurance firms in Alberta, with the Level 1 license course included in the program fee.

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an equivalent credential.
  • Applicants 19 years or older may qualify as mature students.
  • Successful completion of a Grade 12 English course at the college or university level, or an equivalent course with the required minimum grade.
  • Those who do not meet the English course requirement may take the Centennial English Admission Test.
