Biomedical Sciences scholars ask questions such as: Can viruses be used to kill cancer cells? How can regenerated skin treat burns? What can be learned about human diseases by studying fruit flies and zebrafish?
Biomedical Sciences involves ground breaking scientific research in areas such as cancer biology, neuroscience, gastrointestinal physiology, cardiovascular sciences, biochemistry, genetics and infectious diseases. During the course of studies, much of a student’s learning will occur while actively working on problems in class, during tutorials, in the laboratory and through summer research studentships.
With a degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduates will have global opportunities to work in pharmaceutical industries, biotechnology, genomics, genetics, business administration and more. This degree can also be used as a stepping-stone to graduate studies or another professional degree such as law, medicine, veterinary medicine, or architecture.
Throughout the program students will develop their ability to think, analyze and write critically. Students will explore contemporary health issues in a broad-based, interdisciplinary and active manner. The opportunity to experience excellence and leadership in education, research, and to provide service to society by working together will make a difference.

Thoroughly enjoyed studying MSc. Electrical Engineering here. It lasted 3.5 years. The program could take longer than expected as it is totally upto the Professor to decide as to when you are ready for thesis defence.
I have done two Masters degrees here, one completely by accident and am currently in a PhD. That one is intentional.
