Kerri-Lynn (KL) has over a decade of experience building online marketplaces, and she’s passionate about helping Canadians make better purchase decisions by gaining access to qualified information. She was a founding team member of Ratehub, Canada’s leading financial product comparison website, and currently runs Pawzy, which connects modern pet parents to health advice and services. A graduate of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, Kerri-Lynn brings her digital marketing and marketplace expertise to CourseCompare as its Fractional CMO.

James is a digital marketing expert with a passion for helping businesses grow online. He is currently the Paid Acquisition Manager for CourseCompare, where he oversees the strategy and execution of all paid channels, including Google Ads and Meta Ads. He has over five years of experience in digital advertising and paid acquisition working with global brands such as L’Oreal and Turo. James is the Founder of No Growth, a digital agency that specializes in e-commerce and startup marketing.

As Student Recruitment Manager at CourseCompare, Amanda helps thousands of people each year plan their learning journeys and lead more fulfilling careers. She was previously a policy analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and Community Engagement Manager at Ratehub, where she led youth-focused workshops on financial literacy. Amanda holds a bachelor’s in history and economics from the University of Toronto and master’s in economics from Carleton University.

Megan is an advertising professional with more than a decade’s experience managing diverse projects and teams. She has worked on integrated marketing initiatives with BBDO, The Ontario Ministry of Health & Long Term Care, and Rogers Communications. At CourseCompare, Megan is responsible for managing an international network of education partners.

Nicole is an employment expert and certified career coach who for 20 years has helped hundreds of people pursue more meaningful careers across Canada. Her work experience includes human resources, customer service and academic advising, as well as teaching at Fanshawe College, where she was a part-time professor teaching topics in business, finance and administration.

Shane Schick tells stories that help people innovate and manage the change innovation brings. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Magazine and B2B News Network. He is also the former Vice-President, Content & Community (Editor-in-Chief) at IT World Canada, a former technology columnist with the Globe and Mail and Yahoo Canada, and was the founding editor of ITBusiness.ca.

Jennifer Brown is a journalist and communications professional with extensive experience creating engaging content for B2B and consumer audiences, including the legal, tech and higher education sectors. She is the former Managing Editor of Canadian Lawyer InHouse magazine and Law Times and wrote a long-running column for the Toronto Star about the rental housing market. More recently she has worked for several large enterprises as a content marketer. Jennifer publishes in-depth educational articles for CourseCompare.

Rosalind Stefanac is a writer and editor who is passionate about sharing Canadian healthcare stories and successes. A former editor of Pharmacy Practice + Business, an award-winning national journal for pharmacists, she now writes for a variety of healthcare magazines and websites geared to consumers and healthcare providers. She has also written for business publications such as Financial Post Magazine and the Globe & Mail’s Report on Business.

Cassandra Dixon is a budding writer with a keen interest in education and learning. She is currently an Editorial Intern with CourseCompare, where she helps research and produce engaging and informative content for our learners. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a focus on Kinesiology. Cassandra has previous experience in content production working as an intern for Pawzy, a marketplace that connects pet parents to pet health advice and services.
