Marca College of Hair & Esthetics Hairdressing program is designed to develop and expand the student’s skills in every aspect of their career as a successful hairstylist. Offered in different locations, including Brampton, Hamilton, Mississauga, and Toronto, the Hairdressing School’s curriculum is designed to combine hands-on teaching, demonstrations and seminars with industry professionals, and cutting edge technology to best develop the next generation of beauty professionals.
Marca College Salons offer real-life opportunities to engage with real salon guests and prepare for a creative profession in hair styling. Both full-time and part-time programming to suit varying schedules and best prepare students with convenient, contemporary salon-like environments. Instructors take their students experience further by fully preparing them for their new career by teaching fundamentals such as Salon Operations, Finances and Branding.

What You’ll Learn
- Hair fundamentals: sculpture theory, tools, skills, forms, combination forms, wet and thermal styling, trichology, and microbiology.
- Guest services: guest experience, service, consultations, design, draping, shampooing, and conditioning.
- Hair colour: colour theory, tools, skills, hair colour level and systems, lightening, toning, and hair painting.
- Permanent waving: solutions and neutralization, tools, skills, and wrapping techniques.
- Chemical relaxer: hair analysis, application techniques, curl reformation and diffusion, chemical and thermal damage, treatment, and repair.
- Salon pro: advanced sculpture, hair design and corrective colour solutions.
- Long hair and hair additions: long hair up styling, bridal, hair accessories, braiding, wigs, and hair extensions.
- Business: salon operations, finances, entrepreneurship, resume writing, and branding.
- Student salon: hands-on services on salon guests, greeting, consulting, connecting, and creating.
