The Honours Bachelor of Commerce program (BCom) allows students to build a solid foundation in the key fields of business. Students choose to focus on one or two business options, pursue a business option and a minor in another faculty, combine a microprogram with their business option, or complete a specialization (Accounting).

The BCom starts with common core courses in marketing, financial management, organizational behaviour, and more, allowing learners to understand each key business field. Program courses follow a logical sequence that enables students to build their foundational business knowledge and become a specialist in their field. Students can also take advantage of many experiential learning opportunities that prepare them for their future career. Students will customize their studies by choosing from Telfer business options, specializations or a joint program. Specializations of the BCom include: Accounting, Business Technology Management, Finance, Healthcare Analytics, Human Resource Management, International Management, Management, and Marketing.

The MHA program strengthened my leadership and communication skills while teaching me about healthcare operations, change management, and using data to improve patient care and organizational performance. The faculty brought valuable industry experience to the classroom, and I left the program with more confidence to take on management responsibilities in the healthcare sector.

I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to advance their healthcare career. The courses on financial management, organizational behaviour, and quality improvement gave me skills I use every day in my job. I appreciated the balance between theory and real-world healthcare challenges, and the collaborative projects helped me learn from classmates with diverse professional backgrounds. It was a worthwhile investment in my future.
