This innovative program blends the fast-paced technology of esports with foundational skills from the media production industry, training students to deliver engaging content across multiple platforms. With hands-on learning in Conestoga’s cutting-edge Esports Hub and streaming lab, students gain practical experience in video production, live streaming, event logistics, and digital marketing—skills that are increasingly in demand across corporate, entertainment, and public sectors.
The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including event planning, social media promotion, audio and video editing, and the business of esports. Students learn how to manage the full production cycle of events—from pre-production and coordination to execution—while using industry-standard tools and practices. Emphasis is placed on professional communication, technical proficiency, and adaptability in diverse production environments. Graduates are equipped to work on esports tournaments, corporate events, and hybrid productions, with the ability to meet client needs, follow industry regulations, and assess the effectiveness of their work in real time.
