Queen’s University’s fully online, part time, asynchronous Professional Masters of Education (PME) program is built for those who want to take the next step in their education careers.

Designed to be flexible for a wide variety of learners, students can participate anytime, anywhere as all classes are self led and asynchronous, and can be taken in any order. Students first choose a concentration, and may pick from Assessment & Evaluation, Classroom Specialist, Educational Administration, Global Education, Indigenous Education, and Literacy Education.

Each concentration will have to complete 10 graduate courses, half of which are required and half are elective. Students can complete this program in two years, on average, but may take up to five if needed.

The PME program is designed for teachers and education administrators, but may also be a fit for professionals who have educational responsibilities such as workers in health sciences, business, or military sectors.

  • Average of 70 per cent or higher.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to manage change in educational organizations.
