Thompson Rivers University Education and Social Work program is designed for the working professional in education – being a teacher, administrator, trainer, or one in employee development, who wants to be a leader.
Learners will get a deep understanding of Indigenous education as they learn from elders, get new educational leadership techniques from current educators, and learn to incorporate inclusive content into their own curriculum. Once completed, graduates will be able to find work as school administrators for schools from elementary to post-secondary, marketers, healthcare educators, and more.
Students may choose to study full or part-time, and may take some courses online, allowing for flexibility in their education process.
Admission Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree or equivalent with a 3.0 GPA.
- Official transcripts for all post-secondary education or a letter of permission from your home institution.
- English language proficiency test if applicable.
