Cyber Specialist

triOS College’s Cyber Specialist program offers a comprehensive and practical pathway for students aiming to enter the fast-growing cybersecurity field. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students develop the skills to configure, automate, and manage servers within cloud and enterprise environments using a wide range of modern technologies. The program emphasizes cybersecurity best practices, teaching learners how to design, implement, and audit security controls while also detecting, responding to, and investigating common security breaches.

In addition to technical training, students strengthen their overall IT administration foundation through courses in PC and Windows administration, Linux and network administration, and advanced networking and cybersecurity. They also learn to leverage online resources—such as advanced search techniques and AI tools—to enhance efficiency and problem-solving. Complemented by dedicated Student Success Strategies and Career Management courses, the program prepares learners to pursue CompTIA and Microsoft cybersecurity certifications and to confidently enter the workforce as capable, job-ready IT professionals.

A 12-week internship option is available.

Admission Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
