This fully online course builds on and extends the concepts introduced in French 1. It aims to further develop competencies in French through authentic learning tasks that prepare learners for real-life application. Online activities promote the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both personal and professional contexts. Learners use communication strategies to strengthen interpersonal skills, convey information, and engage in various forms of persuasive exchanges in routine situations. The course also supports the development of lifelong learning skills that are transferable to employment. The targeted second-language proficiency aligns with Level 3 requirements of the Canadian Language Benchmarks for French (NCLC).
