University of Victoria’s Master of Social Work Advanced (MSWA) program is designed for experienced practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of socially just social work practice. Grounded in principles of equity, critical reflection, and social justice, the program encourages students to examine the social, cultural, political, and practical dimensions of their professional work. I had a decent time at the university of Victoria. The peers at the school were amazing, without being over competitive, and I learnt a lot from them. The professors were also super helpful if you attended their office hours.

Critical thinking is welcome and encouraged take your time to experience the opportunity to evolve from a fixed mindset to a open mindset. It was at UVIC I learned about the respect and stewardship of the First Nation land that we all get to visit in our journey of learning.
