Executive Leadership

The Rotman School of Management Executive Leadership program is designed as an immersive development experience for senior professionals seeking to strengthen their ability to lead in uncertain and rapidly evolving environments. It supports leaders in moving beyond instinct and past success patterns toward more intentional, evidence-based leadership practices grounded in the latest insights on organizational dynamics, market forces, and human behaviour. Through a combination of interactive learning and applied reflection, the program helps participants deepen their understanding of what it means to lead effectively in complex modern workplaces.

Across two intensive modules, participants explore the core capabilities of inclusive leadership, workforce evolution, collaboration, and leadership ethos, while engaging with experienced guest speakers and peers from diverse industries. The learning experience emphasizes practical application, equipping leaders with tools to build inclusive environments, navigate changing workforce expectations, and foster stronger collaboration across teams. By integrating personal leadership reflection with real-world challenges, the program supports participants in refining their leadership identity and expanding their impact within their organizations and beyond.

The participant profile includes senior leaders from across Canada and around the world, typically with more than 10 years of experience leading people, teams, or large projects. Participants often hold roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Executive Director, Senior Consultant, or Managing Partner. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership experience and readiness for advanced executive development and greater organizational impact.
