QC Pet Studies’ Dog Behavior Specialist certification course is designed for individuals who want to build an advanced career helping dogs overcome behavioural challenges and improve their quality of life. Through a comprehensive online curriculum, students learn science-based behaviour modification techniques to address issues such as separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and aggression, while developing a strong understanding of canine psychology and learning theory. The program is structured to guide learners step by step, ensuring they build the knowledge and confidence needed to support both dogs and their owners effectively.

Throughout the course, students receive personalized audio feedback from experienced tutors on every assignment, ensuring consistent guidance and professional insight as they progress through their training. The curriculum is divided into structured units covering behaviour modification, anxiety-related issues, client communication, and business development, helping students prepare for real-world practice. Course materials are continuously updated to reflect the latest science-based industry standards, allowing graduates to stay current in their field. Upon completion, students earn the International Dog Behavior Specialist (IDBS) designation, demonstrating their ability to assess, modify, and manage complex dog behaviour professionally.

Decided to hop on a webinar on Concept Training. What an adventure and delight. Susan illustrates her passion and talents while showing us how to engage with our furry companions in an interactive, fun, and creative way. We learn how to achieve the desired result from our (dog) by asking them to complete a task/ command , while making the experience fun for both trainer and companion. Who doesn’t want to have fun!! 🤗👍

I did their grooming course and loved it. I learned so much and found I was able to incorporate it all into starting my own grooming buisness. Courses were easy to follow and I loved the practicals as they really showed me where I could improve.
