New Brunswick Community College’s Information Technology: Software Development diploma prepares students for careers in software development and information technology through a combination of academic learning and practical experience. The program develops skills in programming, software analysis and design, database development, web development, software testing, and project management while introducing learners to enterprise-based tools and development practices.
Students build experience with technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In the second year, experiential and work-integrated learning provides opportunities to apply development skills through collaborative capstone projects and practical industry experiences, helping students prepare for the transition into professional software development roles.
