French Language Fundamentals Program

George Brown’s French Language Fundamentals Program meet the needs of those who wish to develop or improve their French for use in the workplace, during travel, and in everyday situations. The live, instructor-led classes allow learners to practice speaking and listening skills through interactive exercises with peers. The required courses emphasize authenticity, active participation, pronunciation, listening skills, and role-playing and teach students the French language while also introducing the cultures in which it is spoken.

Upon completion the French Language Fundamentals courses (three in total), student can request to receive their French Language Fundamentals Certificate of Completion.

Admission Requirements

• For students with no previous French language experience, it is recommended to begin with French Fundamentals 1.
