After reading the reviews I signed up for the month to month self paced PMP course. I found to be awful. There is a couple of minutes of a hokey 1980’s Hercules style video and then slide without audio that you sit and read to yourself. There is n...
After reading the reviews I signed up for the month to month self paced PMP course. I found to be awful. There is a couple of minutes of a hokey 1980’s Hercules style video and then slide without audio that you sit and read to yourself. There is no companion document providing the architecture of the course and no way to cut and paste the info into your own document. It does not engage different learning styles in anyway and makes the course into mindless memorisation rather than an understanding of concepts. Furthermore it’s organised by process groups rather than by knowledge groups. Planing (where most of the processes are) turns into an incomprehensible mess. I did a bit more research and found a MUCH better online course with a companion book and proper instructional videos for less money. Don’t waste your time on Brain Sensei.

I really enjoyed the Brain Sensei self learning course as well as the virtual course with the instructor. I was able to pass the PMP with above target ratings for every section. I am so pleased with how easy and efficient the courses were to navigate, and how simply the PMI approach was placed into every day situations. I would highly recommend this course to everyone wanting to either freshen up on their Project skills or to master the PMP.
