George Brown’s Project Management Program equips students with a comprehensive foundation in both traditional project management principles and agile methodologies, including frameworks such as Scrum. Designed to reflect current industry standards and practices, the program emphasizes practical application and strategic thinking, enabling learners to effectively manage projects in a variety of sectors. Students begin by completing required courses in Project Management Fundamentals and Agile Project Management, which together establish core competencies in planning, executing, and managing projects using both predictive and adaptive approaches.

To further tailor their learning experience and expand their professional skill set, students choose two electives from a range of focused areas. Options include Change Management, which explores strategies for navigating organizational transformation; Data Analysis with Excel, which introduces data-driven decision making; Leadership Fundamentals, which strengthens leadership and communication capabilities; and Lean Six Sigma at both Yellow and Green Belt levels, offering tools and techniques for process improvement and quality management. This flexible structure allows participants to build a well-rounded, industry-relevant portfolio that supports career advancement in project management and related fields.

What You’ll Learn

  • Apply core principles of traditional and agile project management, including Scrum practices.
  • Develop project plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk effectively.
  • Lead teams and communicate project goals with clarity and confidence.
