The Cloud Computing for Web Developers Course is for those who’d like to learn cloud computing and gain a basic to intermediate level with deploying web applications using cloud services. The course is suitable for those who already have competency in front-end and back-end web development. Those who have been employed as a web developer for some time, either in-house or as a freelancer, or who have enrolled in our Full-Stack Web Development Program and completed CareerFoundry’s Full-Stack Immersion Course (or an equivalent external course), will be a good fit for this course.
To complete the course, learners need to be familiar with front-end and back-end web development—preferably the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js). In this course, students learn how to use different cloud services for web application development and deployment. Students gain hands-on practical experience with some widely-used Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Lambda, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Requirements: You’ll need to be familiar with frontend and backend web development—preferably the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js)
Note that this course is not eligible for CareerFoundry’s Job Guarantee.
