This course is for ESL students who already have an advanced knowledge of English vocabulary and grammatical structures. The main purpose of this course is to help students learn the essential skills required to produce professional business documents such as e-mails, memos, letters and short reports. Topics covered in this course are: the business writing process, audience and purpose analysis, channels of communication, ‘business language’ and style, patterns of organization, as well as the importance of revising and proofreading in crafting a well-received message.
