Esports Social Media Management

Social media management is an important component of the rapidly evolving esports landscape. Led by a current industry expert, this micro-credential will teach the foundational skills needed to effectively manage an esports social media account and provide students with the essential tools required to pursue a career in esports social media management. All content will focus specifically on the esports industry, showcasing brands, teams, and content creators that operate in the space. Learners will be able to demonstrate how each social media platform functions, identify target audiences, and use brand voices to boost the reception of the brands they will manage in the esports industry.

The earner of this micro-credential can demonstrate the foundational skills needed for social media management in esports, including developing strategies to engage an esports audience through different social platforms and the ability to create effective content for social media accounts.

This micro-credential consists of a weekly one-hour online class over eight weeks, with an additional one to two hours of self-study per module.  Learners should expect 25-30 hours total to successfully complete the micro-credential.

Learners will receive a digital badge upon successful completion of the micro-credential.
