AutoCAD is computer-aided design software used in many industries, engineering, architecture, planning, inter design, and drafting. Architects and drafters use AutoCAD software to design and draw site plans for buildings and other structures. Mechanical engineers and product designers employ AutoCAD when creating designs and models for specific products. The software is used by engineers and manufacturers for product and service design and development in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automobile, transportation, electrical, telecommunications and utilities.

Students learn to create 2 or 3-dimensional technical drawings, develop template files, coordinate reference drawings and build a library of reusable symbols.

Seneca College has given me so many tools to use outside from my college! I went to Seneca for their acting for camera and voice program (ACV). Mark Ingram our coordinator of the program has been a delight to work with alongside my other professors who have taught me. The program itself is remarkable they made me comfortable whilst auditioning and have guided me to tackle and create scenes I couldn’t do without them. I am extremely humble and grateful for my experience with the program and I cannot wait to see where it will go and how it will grow for the upcoming alumni to come. It has created a chapter in my life that I will cherish for years to come!
