The University of the Fraser Valley’s Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Mentorship is tailored for K-12 educators who want to pursue leadership roles. Faculty with practical experience in leading and mentoring will prepare students for what that means, including developing deeper forms of communications and interaction with new learners. The part-time, in person program offers learners the opportunity to create their own ideas for further research in their final year, and use that to develop quantifiable research.
Students can opt for a capstone project or thesis at the end of their program, provided they can demonstrate strong writing abilities. Graduates will be able to take leadership positions in schools and school districts, curriculum development roles, and department heads.
