Loyalist College’s Business – Accounting program prepares students to understand how businesses operate and use financial information to support sound decision-making. With a dual focus on financial and management accounting, the program develops practical skills in areas such as budgeting, product costing, pricing, financial reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Students build a strong foundation in accounting, business, mathematics, communication, and digital applications while gaining hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Sage 50 Accounting, and QuickBooks. The program also incorporates experiential learning and AI-supported business applications, helping students develop marketable skills for accounting and business roles across industries including manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, travel, fashion, and sports.
