Administrative Professional Certificate

The Administrative Professional Certificate program at Bow Valley College provides students with the technical and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in business office environments. Through a competency-based curriculum, students gain expertise in software applications, document processing, communication, and project management.

The program spans three terms and includes a mandatory 3-credit field placement. It is designed for students seeking to excel in administrative roles and offers flexible delivery through a hyflex format.

Admission Requirements

• Credit in English Language Arts 30-1 or at least 65% in English Language Arts 30-2 (or equivalent).
• Credit in Grade 10 Math (excluding Math 10-4 and Math 16).
• Successful completion of the GED test with minimum scores: 520 in Language Arts: Reading and Writing, 450 in Math.
• Satisfactory results on the Bow Valley College Admissions Test.
• Minimum keyboarding speed of 25 words per minute is recommended.
