As a client myself:

I watched a client next to me have her blond hair melted off from bleach. I watched her panic and on the brink of tears. (The director was the person that said using 10 volume would be totally safe!)

I’ve had my hair washed by a student where I’m sure I didn’t feel her fingertips on my scalp.

I’ve had instructors mix the solution to give me the colour I desired only to have the colour turn out once out of the three times I’ve gone.

I’ve had gel polish applications last not even an hour after and the polish just slid off my nails.

I’ve had a student apply 7 layers of nail polish and send me off with a drying top coat. Like as if that’s going to hold!?

I’ve had my eyelashes done three times. Once it turned out great. I’ve had appointments and the person I chose to do my appointment again, called in sick three times and then I had someone else do them. Staff doesn’t call to notify me that the solution used to perm the lashes was not ordered - therefore I couldn’t do my appointment.

The hair students are constantly running around asking to borrow hair product for their client and given empty bare bottles that they have to add water to.

I would not recommend wasting your money or your time because it literally can take triple the time to go to someone that’s established.

There is only one hair instructor there that I trust, and I’ll just say she has medium brunette hair.

Don’t go :)

I've had a fantastic experience at MC College. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and they've helped me develop my hairstyling skills in ways I never thought possible. The hands-on training is top-notch, and the school provides a supportive learning environment. I've learned so much and made wonderful friends along the way. My only wish for a 5-star rating would be a bit more variety in the curriculum, but overall, it's an awesome place to pursue your passion for hairstyling.
