Nova Scotia Community College’s IT Programming program prepares students to design and develop software solutions for a variety of platforms. The program combines programming fundamentals with hands-on training in object-oriented programming, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, data structures, databases, web development, mobile applications, operating systems, networking, and systems analysis and design.

Students gain practical experience applying coding and design best practices while developing software for web, desktop, mobile, and other platforms. Through an integrated project and real-world work experience, students strengthen their ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams, communicate with clients, and create practical software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
