Master of Business Administration

The Sobey MBA program emphasizes responsible leadership and immerses you in unique international and local business experiences to cultivate your innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. Through these specially-designed immersive experiences you will develop your ability to embrace uncertainty and change and thrive. Taught by world-class faculty, the program is cohort-based, and is completed in 16 months (full-time). It is recognized as a two-year program.

A local service learning immersion will connect you with businesses and organizations. You will work on volunteer projects that consolidate learning and make a meaningful contribution to the community.

To foster your global mindset, you will also take part in an intercultural/international immersion experience: either an international class trip with a strong business focus, or individual study abroad opportunities.

Enjoy discussion and debate with an international cohort of emerging business leaders, and interact closely with the business community to enrich your learning experience. The program helps you discover and define your goals, and accelerate your success.

In the last semester, you’ll apply what you’ve learned and focus in a specialized area. Students can choose electives from a wide range of areas, notably, management consulting, finance, entrepreneurship and many other available disciplines. You’ll choose electives that will deepen your understanding of the areas.
