Master of Management in AI and Analytics

McMaster University’s Master of Management in AI and Analytics is a 16-month, full-time professional graduate program designed for early-career professionals and recent graduates seeking to develop advanced skills in artificial intelligence, analytics, and business strategy. Offered through the DeGroote School of Business, the program combines rigorous coursework with experiential learning, helping students build the technical, strategic, and communication skills needed to contribute to data-driven organizations.

Students gain hands-on experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and cloud-based platforms while developing expertise in applied AI, analytics, data storytelling, model development, and ethical decision-making. The program includes an eight-month Industry-Partnered Project and a mandatory four-month work term, providing opportunities to apply AI and analytics solutions to real business challenges. Students can also explore emerging technologies through specialization and capstone work while strengthening their critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.

Admission Requirements

• Honours Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Preference for degrees in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Stats, Math, Business or Economics.
• Although work experience is an asset, no post-graduate work experience is required. Preference for candidates with 0-4 years of work experience.
