Business Administration – Marketing (International Students) only accepts applications from International Students.
Mohawk College’s Business Administration – Marketing program is designed to help students build on the foundational knowledge gained in the two-year Business-Marketing program. This advanced program equips students with the skills and expertise necessary to excel in a variety of marketing and sales careers. With options like the co-op stream, students can gain valuable hands-on experience in the field through three four-month co-op work terms, further enhancing their marketability.
The program offers a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, covering areas such as integrated marketing communications, content and digital marketing, and sales practices. Students also expand their skill set with courses in project management, marketing metrics, Adobe software, graphic and web design, and business ethics. They learn how to develop comprehensive marketing plans, create integrated marketing communication strategies, and assess the impact of various marketing strategies on business outcomes like return on investment (ROI) and financial performance.
In addition to core marketing concepts, students gain expertise in market research, persuasive communication, and sales presentation techniques. The program also encourages the development of entrepreneurial strategies for career growth, including contract work and self-employment opportunities.
