Cyber Security Analytics (International Students) only accepts applications from International Students.
The Cyber Security Analytics Graduate Certificate at Mohawk College prepares students to protect and defend digital systems from cyber threats. The program combines hands-on learning in state-of-the-art cyber labs with flexible online and night classes, making it ideal for those with busy schedules. Students gain practical experience in defending against cyber attacks through simulations and by designing security solutions for a variety of environments, including mobile devices, smart homes, and Industry 4.0 factories.
Throughout the program, students develop and implement cyber security strategies for operating systems, networks, and applications, while learning how to respond to the cyber security needs of internal stakeholders. The curriculum covers topics such as risk mitigation, vulnerability assessments, auditing, and compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards. Students also learn to apply project management principles to information security processes and design effective training for internal teams. By monitoring and analyzing attackers’ tactics, students are trained to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security measures. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with the skills to secure business resources and manage the growing challenges of cyber security in an increasingly connected world.
