If you’re looking to advance your career and be leadership ready, this is the MBA for you. The Full-time MBA from Smith School of Business takes a flexible and highly personalized approach that allows you to build the right program for your career goals.

The experience and knowledge you’ll gain being part of a team-based program will be an advantage. Employers are demanding those skills when they’re recruiting and we’re delivering with well-rounded graduates, ready for the marketplace.

Their flexible programs allow you to build your curriculum to meet your career goals. The program begins with an overview of business fundamentals in the first six months as well as an Integrated Team Project. This offers you a unique opportunity to work with Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SME) and put into practice what you are learning throughout the program.

Then you’ll choose your individual project and complete your electives. Those who choose to pursue a specialization will earn an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in one of the following areas: Consulting, Digital Transformation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Management Analytics or Marketing & Sales. If you decide not to specialize, you may complete the General Management option which requires students to choose elective courses in a variety of different areas. Learn more about the specializations available to you.

Queen’s is consistently ranked among the best in the world. You can find average salaries and graduation rates on CourseCompare and on Smith’s website. The numbers speak for themselves.

But the best things about Queen’s are the people, the community and the networks. You will probably have fun here while meeting the future CEO of a tech startup or leader in finance and consulting. QC doesn’t set up internships for you and you will have to find one on your own, but recruiters are always on campus and profs are in your court and available to help you. There are also 40+ clubs to join where you can meet amazing people. There are regular conferences happening that attract first-rate speakers, and the exchange program is amazing and not one to be missed.

Queen’s and Ivey at Western are both excellent, but I chose Queen’s because it’s a 4-year program. Ivey begins in year three and I didn’t want to have to compete to get in and then make friends halfway through my undergrad experience.

To summarize, Queen’s is where future business leaders are being taught. The community is second-to-none and the career results speak for themselves.

The program gave me an edge in my day-to-day business dealings and ultimately boosted my confidence to take my family business to the next level. I loved the videoconference technology. It felt as if you were right there in the front row of the class, and the professor– student interaction was wonderful. This program is not for the faint of heart, but I couldn’t imagine where I would be today without it.
