Metro Truck Driving School’s D License Program prepares students to operate any truck or truck-and-trailer combination where the towed vehicle does not exceed 4,600 kg. Graduates are qualified to drive vehicles such as fire trucks, cement trucks, waste management trucks, and snowplow trucks, and may also operate vehicles under Class G. The program provides the knowledge and practical skills required to confidently meet provincial licensing standards.

The course includes 12 hours of in-vehicle training over five days, featuring six hours of small-group vehicle inspection training and four hours of one-on-one yard and road instruction. Students also receive two hours dedicated to the MTO road test in Brampton, along with preparation for the MTO written test if needed. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a Certificate of Completion.
