The Justice Institute of British Columbia’s Trauma and Crisis Intervention certificate program allows anyone interested in getting the tools and knowledge required to help others through difficult times the ability to do so at their own pace. Learners can fast track through the program in as little as four months, but can also take up to four years.

Firefighters, HR professionals, paramedics, police, nurses, welfare workers, and crisis intervention workers are just a few of the roles that may require such training. Learners are taught by industry experts, and will practice crisis intervention techniques in a supportive environment that will aid in honing their skills.
