Bachelor of Event, Sport, and Entertainment Management (Honours)(Co-op)

Algonquin College’s Bachelor of Event, Sport, and Entertainment Management (Honours) (Co-op) is a four-year degree program that prepares students to thrive in the fast-paced and global event industry. Designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals, the program trains students to plan, manage, and deliver events across a wide range of sectors including entertainment, sport, tourism, corporate, nonprofit, fashion, and the arts. Students gain the expertise needed to execute everything from local festivals to international conferences, with a focus on delivering impactful experiences for diverse audiences.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, students develop core business and management skills alongside specialized training in areas such as event logistics, safety and security, marketing, finance, and intercultural communication. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, project execution, and revenue generation, with practical experience embedded through national and international co-op placements. The program culminates in a capstone project where students collaborate with an industry client to design and implement a live event, providing a valuable opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting.
