Students in La Cite’s Dental Hygiene program gain theoretical and practical knowledge related to providing therapeutic oral care, including assessing oral health, taking x-rays, and establishing and implementing treatment plans. Students learn how to scale and polish teeth to prevent oral disease, apply anti-caries agents, and provide oral hygiene instruction to the patient. This program includes mandatory rotations that require providing care to a wide variety of clients in the laboratory as well as in the rotation setting.
Graduates of the program will be required to pass the National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination and meet all the registration requirements of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario to obtain their Certificate of Registration.

There's literally openly racist professor that have been around for years in this college, and even with all the complaints that students file against them, the school doesn't do anything to change it, it's really a shame that no one is doing anything ...
I had an excellent experience at La Cité during my two study programs. There are several services offered to help students during their studies. It is more than an educational institution, it is also a place to grow and create memories.
