Plumbing Techniques

The Mechanical Techniques – Plumbing program at Sault College equips students with both the technical knowledge and hands-on experience required to start a career in the plumbing trade. This one-year Ontario College Certificate program emphasizes experiential learning, offering training in advanced, industry-standard labs designed to simulate real-world plumbing environments. Students gain practical skills in pipe installation, maintenance, and repair while learning to safely and effectively use a variety of plumbing tools, systems, and materials.

The program balances practical training with theoretical instruction, providing students with a solid understanding of plumbing systems, workplace safety, and industry codes and standards. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing, and the program also lays the groundwork for those seeking to advance through apprenticeship programs. Admissoin Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
