Lakehead University’s Master of Education program will prepare students – who are also educators themselves – for rising professional goals and interest.
Learners can choose from Educational Studies, which offers students the opportunity to earn a Master’s of Education as they study educational research, theory, and practice, or the Education for Change stream which provides three following specializations in environmental sustainability education, indigenous education, or social justice education.
Students are able to pursue their studies with a thesis, portfolio, or course based route so learners can tailor their education to their own strengths and interests. This program will run both online and in person, depending on the time of year. Summer students will receive a hybrid experience while fall and winter students will learn fully on campus.
