Masters of Business Administration

Lakehead University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to equip students with the analytical, decision-making, and communication skills necessary for success in the business world. The program offers two options: a 12-month general MBA and a 16-month MBA with Advanced Studies in Management, which includes specialized courses in various business areas. Both options focus on developing a comprehensive understanding of business and management functions, while fostering ethical decision-making and effective communication. The program combines lectures, class discussions, case studies, and experiential learning projects to enhance students’ practical knowledge and leadership abilities.

The MBA is available on both a full-time (1 year) and part-time (3 years) basis, with full-time students completing all requirements in three terms and part-time students balancing their studies with work commitments. Designed for working professionals, the part-time option does not include financial support, but provides the flexibility to complete the degree while maintaining a career.
