Dalhousie University’s Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is designed to help professionals understand the challenges organizations face in creating equitable, inclusive, and respectful workplaces. Delivered fully online, the certificate explores inclusive communication, diverse team performance, organizational policies, and strategies for navigating sensitive issues while creating safe spaces for meaningful dialogue.
The certificate consists of four three-week courses, with each course including 20 learning hours and 4.5 hours of live sessions. Participants develop practical tools and strategies for communicating inclusively, engaging in courageous conversations, fostering diverse teams, and supporting the implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within their organizations.
