The National Payroll Institute (NPI) offers the only payroll designations in Canada: Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) and Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP). These programs prepare payroll practitioners to manage the compliance requirements of an organization’s annual payroll cycle, deliver clear and reliable payroll information, and contribute a payroll perspective to organizational policy and strategy discussions.
In Douglas College’s Payroll Management program, students will complete both the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Designation and Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) Designation.
The PCP designation is the foundation of a career in payroll. It provides students with the compliance knowledge required to process an organization’s annual payroll cycle, effectively communicate payroll information to all stakeholders, and understand the accounting function as it relates to payroll.
The PLP designation builds on the PCP compliance knowledge by developing to prepare seasoned professionals to manage a payroll department. It provides learners with the knowledge to make decisions, supervise and manage, and contribute a payroll perspective to organizational policy and strategy discussions.

Both campuses are close together in a beautiful wilderness landscape. Loads of amenities like the stadium, gym and theatre, and transit is a piece of cake with a U-Pass.
This is a great school and I can't say enough good things about my experience here.
