At Edison Institute of Nutrition, learners receive a world class education from highly respected industry professionals. This qualifies graduates to practice as a holistic nutritionist. The philosophy of holistic nutrition is that one’s health is an expression of the complex interplay between the physical, chemical, mental, and emotional, as well as spiritual and environmental aspects of one’s life and being. Professionals who are trained in holistic nutrition view health and healing from a whole person perspective.

Using education as a primary tool, holistic nutrition professionals emphasize the building of health by approaching each person as a unique individual. This requires fully engaging the individual in their health recovery process and honoring their innate wisdom by working in an empowering and supportive manner to chart a course to optimal health.

The Diploma in Holistic Nutrition online program is organized into six modules totaling two thousand hours. Dividing the curriculum into modules allows participants to progress one step at a time, with meaningful guideposts along the way. Each module consists of five subjects, apart from the final two modules, which have four subjects, each for a total of 29 subjects.
