George Brown’s Early Childhood Education Diploma program will give students the knowledge and practical experience they need to support children’s learning as they grow. Students study the holistic developmental needs of infants (from six weeks), toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children (to 12 years) and will learn how to design inclusive education and care programs and respond to the unique needs and interests of a child. Students will also engage with families and the broader community.
Students will develop learning environments that foster and sustain caring, responsive relationships with children, families, and communities, valuing and respecting social, cultural, and linguistic diversity, including Indigenous worldviews and Francophone identities. They will learn to co-create, facilitate, and reflect on inquiry-based and play-based early years programs that promote children’s learning, holistic development, and well-being, tailoring approaches to their capabilities, interests, ideas, and experiences. Additionally, students will collaborate in designing and maintaining inclusive early learning environments that provide equitable, accessible, and meaningful learning opportunities for all children and their families, in a variety of early years and childcare settings.
To solidify learning as students go, this program alternates between in-class learning and field placement experiences. This integrated approach not only helps learners develop confidence in their skills as they progress throughout the program but will ensure they are ready to work immediately upon graduation.

I am extremely disappointed in the non-assistance given after completing this course with high marks.
In the past colleges were expected to do this since that’s why people take their courses.
Lots of money wasted. Someone should regulate ...
